This is our new dog Ginger. She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback cross. We got her when she was about 6 weeks old in late November (2003) shortly after we moved back to Australia.  In one month she doubled in size. The photos are in chronological order. The last photo on the page with Stephanie next to the pool is about age 15 months.

She is fun, bright and chews everything in site. We have wanted a dog for many years and that is one of the many reasons why we moved back to Australia. She is very well behaved, doesn't need a leash when walking. She never runs away. Glad to fetch the tennis ball for you and either play 'keep-away' or politely return it to your hand on command. She loves people and hates to be left alone. He "talks" more than any other dog we have ever known. She growls, howls, barks, moans and does everything possible to get her dumb humans to understand her. We keep trying, but often miss the point. At least she is patient. The kids would like her to have puppies. Maybe next July??? (have to lobby Yuko for permission).
