Jessica's Equipment List that we took along (no particular order of importance):

Camera (disposable since it is a rough, dusty climb)

Hat, lip balm and sunscreen (very high UV above the clouds)

Climbing Staff (for support and to collect souvenir brands at stations along the way)

2 liters of water per person

Headband mounted flashlights, spare batteries and bulbs (climb through the night)

Gloves (very rough pumice and volcanic rock)

First Aid Kit (band-aids, iodine, etc)

Toilet paper (no leaves on top)

Zone Bars, Trail Mix, Sandwiches, etc...

Post Cards (mail box near summit)

Many layers of clothing (20 C cooler at summit than base)

Hiking boots or strong jugging shoes
