Snow, even in the dead of Winter is relatively rare in Tokyo. Therefore it was a very rare treat for us to have quite a significant snow in late Autumn of 2002. In fact the Autumn leaves had not yet fully fallen giving a precious photo opportunity. The photos below were taken in a private park only a few minutes walk from my office at Shinsei Bank in Meguro, Tokyo. I walked to this favorite spot during my lunch hour and took the following photos with an $8 cardboard disposable camera. The bonsai trees are on display in this special private park are truly remarkable. Some of them pictured below are more than 500 years old! I have reduced the photos to thumbnails to save space and make this page load more quickly. To see a larger version of any photo, click the image.
